The fight pits, two Florida based fighters against each other. Miller a long time veteran who trains at http://http://ift.tt/1xO18dN and Alers an Orlando native who once trained at American Top Team, but now trains about 45 minutes south at http://mmamasters.com.

Last February, Miller dropped a unanimous decision to Max Holloway at UFC Fight Night 60 in Colorado. Miller also gives us his thoughts on why he lost that fight, and why he is not looking back, he is moving on.
Miller was set to fight Conor McGregor https://twitter.com/TheNotoriousMMA in Dublin in July 2014, but had to pull out due to an injury.
UFC on FOX 17 takes place Dec. 19th at Amway Center in Orlando. The event’s main card airs is headlined by a lightweight title match between champ Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone.
